Wind Energy

Windmills Producing Energy
This form of clean renewable energy, which emits no air pollution, is produced using wind turbines or windmills to create electricity.

Despite its variable nature, the wind power has proven itself as a highly effective source of energy. Before the Rural Electrification projects in the first half of the 20th century, windmills were commonplace methods of generating electricity and pumping water throughout the United States.

Windustry promotes wind energy to rural landowners, local communities and utilities, and state, regional, and nonprofit collaborations. Good information on basic background and detailed analysis of projects.
