Guide to Home Weatherization

Home weatherization is the process of making your home more energy efficient during all times of the year. This process most often makes improvements to insulation and windows in your home. More information about Home Weatherization.

Home Weatherization Support

PUD has arranged for low cost loans to be available through First Federal Savings and Loan to help with your share of the cost. There is no application fee and PUD pays the loan fee on this low interest loan. The loan amount may range from $1,000 to $15,000. Loans are available to both residential and small commercial customers.

Ready to weatherize you home?

Limited Income Customer

While the PUD program is available to all customers with homes meeting eligibility guidelines, those with a limited income may wish to use the Olympic Community Action Program (OlyCap) Weatherization program. The OlyCap program pays most of the cost to insulate homes of those owners or tenants who qualify.
