Process to apply for Home Weatherization

Apply

• Call the utility services department to discuss signing up 360-452-9771, then press 6
• Review the criteria agreement
• Sign the agreement and return the top copy to the PUD

Get bids

• Obtain bids from improved installers. Several bids are suggested.
• If you want a loan, then email Bronna at , or call 360-452-9771, then press 6. Or stop in at the local PUD office.
• Sign the bid you choose, and return it (and the loan application, if applicable) to the PUD (There is no loan fee)

Approval

• If you applied for a loan, First Federal Savings and Loan will notify you of their decision first.
• The customer or the contractor is notified by PUD of approval to proceed. Do not start your project until approval has been received from the PUD.
• Upon completion, PUD inspects the work and releases the PUD funds.
• First Federal Savings and Loan distributes the loan, if applicable.
