$25 High Efficiency Water Heater Rebate:

Your PUD is currently offering customers $25 rebates for installed new high efficiency (storage-type) water heaters of 50 gallons or more meeting the following criteria: 50 – 64 gallon water heaters must have an energy factor of 0.93 or higher; 65+ Gallon water heaters must have an energy factor of 0.91 or higher. Rebate forms are available at all PUD offices. See Resource List below for a link to our rebate forms online.

Please Note:

This rebate is for Clallam County PUD electricity customers only (if you’re not a customer, check with your Utility, they may offer a similar rebate).
Water heater must be at least 50 gallons. Smaller water heaters and tankless water heaters are not eligible.
Water heater must be installed; no exceptions.
Itemized receipts (or copies thereof) showing payment in full must be attached. Partial receipts are invalid.
Incomplete &/or ineligible rebate forms will be returned.
Rebates may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Water heating can account for 14%–25% of the energy consumed in your home. Selecting and installing the appropriate high efficiency water heater for your home can realize energy savings of 10% - 50%. Actual energy savings from high efficiency water heaters depend on family size, heater location and the size and placement of water pipes.
