Fairview Water System Supply Project Feasibility Study Report

The purpose of this project is to assess the Public Utility District No. 1 of Clallam County (District) water supply and water infrastructure needs for the Fairview Water System for a 30-year planning horizon and to develop, evaluate, and present potential water source options to augment the District’s current water supply to meet 2038 water demands.

Project tasks included:

  1. Analyzing the water demands over the 30-year planning horizon.
  2. Investigating the feasibility of other water supply alternatives including: off-channel storage and treatment options, desalinized seawater, and interconnection with the Port Angeles water system, and groundwater wells.
  3. Investigating the feasibility of ground water resources around the Bluffs Well, near the Agnew Well, and the southern portion of the area near Morse Creek as a potential aquifer storage and recover (ASR) site.
