Clallam Bay-Sekiu Infrastructure Upgrade Phase 3 to begin January 6, 2025

PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) will begin work on a water main replacement project in the northeast portion of Clallam Bay on January 6, 2025. Interwest Construction Inc. has been awarded the construction contract for the scope of work which includes installation of new water mains, water services, fire hydrants and site restoration. Work is slated to take place on E. Frontier St., Fisherman’s St. and Salt Air St. in Clallam Bay.

Chlorine Concentrations in the Clallam Bay Sekiu Water System 10/28/24

On Monday morning Clallam County water operators identified an equipment malfunction in the Clallam Bay Sekiu Water System which caused water to be produced with higher concentrations of chlorine than is typical for this water system.

Clallam PUD To Decrease kWh Rates in 2023

At the Board of Commissioners meeting of September 26, 2022 the PUD Commissioners voted to cancel the budgeted rate increase previously approved for 2023 and instead, approved a 1.00% decrease in all kWh rate classes and a 0.00% change to the Basic Customer Charge, effective April 1, 2023.
