9:56 am - Clallam County PUD is currently responding to an outage caused by a vehicle accident involving a power pole.
A vehicle struck a guy wire, pulling the pole over and causing damage to electrical equipment. As a result, the transformer on the pole failed and one phase conductor from the crossarm came down to the ground.
Crews are on scene assessing the damage and working to safely restore power as quickly as possible.
Please stay clear of any downed power lines or damaged equipment and assume all lines are energized.
