On May 7, 2019, Governor Jay Inslee signed into law the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA) SB 5116, 2019 which commits Washington to an electricity supply free of greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. As part of this new law, utilities like Clallam County PUD are required to develop a Clean Energy Implementation Plan (CEIP), which provides a general roadmap over the next 4 years (2026-2029) for how the utility may progress towards achieving the requirements of the law.
To ensure Clallam County PUD’s CEIP plan reflects the priorities and values of our community, we invite customers and stakeholders to share their input. Your voice matters, and your participation will help guide a cleaner, more equitable energy future for Clallam County.
In addition to the public workshop, you can review the draft CEIP and complete a survey/comment form to provide your feedback. The survey closes October 31, 2025.
