- Any installation for multiple living units or multiple business units at 1 location where the units have separate water facilities must have an individual meter for each unit. A single meter will be allowed for the following installations: healthcare facilities, hotels or motels, storage warehouses, trailer park or recreational vehicle park temporary occupancy spaces, low-income rental housing under company management, apartment or condominium complexes (four or more units), and mobile home courts installed before 1988.
- The owner or a designated manager shall make the application and be responsible for payment of all billings for water service to all units when a master meter has been installed.
- If apartment complexes and mobile home/travel trailer parks convert to individual private ownership in the future, individual metering may be required.
