New PUD Office Hours – Minor Changes

In order to accommodate new software upgrades in the most efficient manner possible, PUD Customer Office Hours will change effective Monday, November 7th. What Customers Need to Know About the PUD’s Software Upgrade

Effective Tuesday, November 1st at 5pm, Clallam PUD will transition to a new and enhanced online bill payment system called SmartHub. Since this is a new system, customers will need to re-register their online account and re-enter their desired auto-payment method. At SmartHub, customers will still be able to view their bills, sign up for paperless billing and use their debit or credit card for autopay or to make one-time payments. Outage Update (8:45am, 10/28/16) At approximately 7:45am this morning, customers on O’Brien Road (east of Port Angeles) began experiencing an outage. The outage impacts about 90 customers. Water Restrictions Lifted for All Areas

The PUD has lifted all water restrictions for the Upper Fairview, Gales Addition, Mt. Angeles, Monroe Water Districts. Tom Martin, PUD Water Superintendent, says, “We appreciate the voluntary conservation measures customers took during this year’s dry period and we encourage customers to continue conserving water where possible during all months of the year.” The City of Port Angeles recently lifted its voluntary water restrictions, prompting the PUD to do the same in areas where water is purchased from the City.… Read More

Thank you for your patience and understand as crews and staff worked throughout the weekend in the inclement weather. Power Outages 10/6/16 (Final Update)

Final Update: 7:15am PUD Crews worked throughout the night to restore power to most customers affected by outages.  High winds were the cause. Notice To PUD Water Customers (Port Angeles Area)

On August 2nd, 2016 the City of Port Angeles stopped adding fluoride to its potable water supply. The PUD purchases water from the City of Port Angeles for its Gales Addition, Monroe, and Mt. Angeles Water Districts. If you are in the above Clallam PUD Water Districts you are no longer receiving fluoridated water.
