PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) will begin work on a water main replacement project in the north east portion of Clallam Bay on January 6, 2025. Interwest Construction Inc. has been awarded the construction contract for the scope of work which includes installation of new water mains, water services, fire hydrants and site restoration. Work is slated to take place on E. Frontier St., Fisherman’s St. and Salt Air St. in Clallam Bay.
During construction, traffic control will be in place in order to ensure the safety of the public and work crews. Customers who will have scheduled impacts to their water service will be notified at least 48 hours in advance via the mail address or phone number associated with the service location account.
Work is forecasted to be complete on or before May 21, 2025. Tune into the PUD website for updates on the project schedule, forecasted water service interruptions or traffic control advisories. Please contact the PUD Water Department with questions or concerns related to this project.
