Next month, we recognize Public Power Week, a week that resonates with us, and I hope with you. PUD employees take pride in working for a public power utility, and that means working for you, our customers.

Many of our employees are also PUD customers so they share similar expectations as you and work to meet or exceed your expectations.
While our summer projects are slowing down, we are quite busy at the PUD, developing a new website for easier navigation and a widely accessible approach, looking at various grants for resilience and reliability of the system, preparing the 2025 budget, and finalizing our robust wildfire mitigation strategies.
Lastly, we focus in this issue as we do every Fall, on preparedness, both for potential storm season outages, as well as larger disasters that could impact our communities. I urge you to read and reflect on the information provided.
Be safe!
