Clallam County PUD #1 will be contracting with Olympic Electric to convert overhead power to underground power along a portion of Diamond Point Rd. This project consists of electrical system upgrades that will also provide more reliable power to the Diamond Point community. Work will take place in the yellow highlighted area from the intersection of Black Diamond Road and Dell Ray Dr to approximately 500’ north of the intersection of Diamond Point Road and Diamond Point Blvd. Work will start early July and go through the end of September. There will be some traffic delays because of this work. Work hours are M - Th 6:30am-5pm. Customers will be notified by phone in advance of power outages associated with this work. This work is grant funded through the Washington State Grid Resilience Grant, which is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act.
