PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) is ending drought response alerts for PUD water systems. The previously issued drought response alerts for the Clallam Bay/Sekiu, Island View, Evergreen, Carlsborg and Fairview water systems are no longer in effect.
PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) had downgraded the drought response alert for the Clallam Bay Sekiu water system from a Stage 3 to a Stage 2. PUD is still requesting that water utility customers in the Clallam Bay/Sekiu System continue voluntary water conservation measures. This is a Stage 2 Response from the District’s Drought Response Plan. The Clallam Bay/Sekiu Water System serves the communities of Clallam Bay and Sekiu as well as the Clallam Bay Corrections Center.
PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) has downgraded the drought response alert for the Island View Water System from a Stage 4 to a Stage 3. PUD is still requiring water utility customers in the Island View Water System to continue water use restrictions. Effective immediately, customers can resume some outdoor water use, but are to limit outdoor water use to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Vehicle washing, except for safety related purposes, is prohibited.
PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) is asking water utility customers in the Gales Addition, Mt. Angeles and Monroe Water Systems to begin mandatory outdoor water restrictions.
This is a reminder that in June of 2025 PUD #1 of Clallam County (PUD) requested that water utility customers in the Carlsborg, Evergreen, Port Angeles Composite and Panoramic Heights water systems begin voluntary water conservation measures. This is a Stage 2 Response from the District’s Drought Response Plan.

This is a Stage 4 Response from the District’s Drought Response Plan. Effective immediately customers are to eliminate outdoor water use and minimize indoor water use.
