The Schedule of Deposits and Charges is updated yearly in the Spring based on updated costs to the utility.

Deposits

Electric

• Residential: ²⁄₁₂ of estimated annual billings with a minimum deposit of $175, or as determined by the District.
• Non-Residential: ²⁄₁₂ of estimated annual billings with a minimum deposit of $175, or as determined by the District.

Water

• Residential: ²⁄₁₂ of estimated annual billings with a minimum deposit of $175, or as determined by the District.
• Non-Residential: ²⁄₁₂ of estimated annual billings with a minimum deposit of $175, or as determined by the District.

Satisfactory credit record with the District, credit assessment, or enrollment in SmartPay may allow the District to waive the deposit requirement.

Frequent overdue payments, high consumption, District-owned equipment tampering, or changes of account holders may result in additional deposit requirements.

Developer Funded Water Projects

Construction Inspection: Deposit based on anticipated labor and fleet hours as determined by the District. Project owner/Developer responsible for all construction inspection costs.

Administrative & Engineering: Deposit based on anticipated level of effort as determined by the District. Project owner/Developer responsible for all administrative, engineering & review costs over $1000.
