Residential Service Application

Applying for residential service is easiest and most efficient using the secure online form below. Please allow up to 2 business days for processing.

If you are unable to apply online, representatives are available Monday through Thursday at customer service locations to assist you with signing up for service.

This form is not valid for New Construction Estimates or Commercial Accounts. Use the Commercial Service Application, request a New Construction Estimate, or contact your local PUD office.

New Service Application Requirements

Identity Theft Prevention is required by law. We require 1 piece of current, government-issued photo I.D. We use Social Security Numbers (SSN) to both verify your identity and conduct a credit check. Customers who do not provide their SSN may apply for service in person at a customer service office with 2 pieces of current, government-issued photo I.D., and pay a billing deposit.

A minimum of 1 business day’s notice is required for service reconnect, disconnect, or transfer between parties. If services are currently disconnected at the customer premises, the Main Service Disconnect (Main Breaker) must be in the open or “off” position prior to reconnection of service. If the Main is closed or “on” at the time of reconnection, services will not be connected and a Trip Charge will be applied to the account. Note: If service has been disconnected for over a year, we require an L & I inspection in order to reconnect service, after which a request for reconnect form may be submitted.
