POSITION:  Student Brush Cutter
HEADQUARTERS:  P.U.D. Service Area
STATUS:   Part-time Temporary, Non-exempt Represented Position (Not to Exceed 180 Days) Must be a full-time college student
WORK WEEK:  Monday – Friday, varying hours between 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
SUPERVISOR:  Operations Superintendent
RATE OF PAY:  $15.66 per hour (effective 5/1/18 – 4/30/19.) Plus the value of benefits provided to regular, full-time employees  – no other benefits
CLOSE DATE: April 23, 2019

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  To perform activities including brush cutting and general debris clearing to support activities of the District’s electric crews, water/wastewater crews, and meter readers to assist in accomplishing the District’s mission and goals.

Candidates’ abilities and qualifications will be evaluated using a cognitive test and technical test, supplemental questionnaire; work history; credit, criminal and background check, employment references and recommendations, education, certifications and training courses completed; and an interview to determine skills and abilities needed to fulfill the requirements of this position.

Based upon these evaluations, District Management will make the selection.
